About Mindy and Steve Higgins
Steve is a real estate agent, father, husband and all-around nice guy. How does the saying go? He is a master of all trades! Anyone who knows Steve knows he is the "go to guy" for virtually any question in the housing industry! He will tell you how it is with no fluff! He has always had an eye for business and an entrepreneurial sense of adventure! Steve started selling when he was a in grade school... those laminated place mats door to door... gotta love them! His parents had their share of coming home to a surprise garage sale in their driveway a time or two! Still, he lives and breathes customer service! If there is a need, he will fill it! Steve not only has a marketing degree from Franklin University, which serves him well, but he also has helped many families in his past position as Vice-President of a central Ohio mortgage company. Wanting to "smell the sawdust", Steve jumped into building. He has built many, many homes with his own hands (we're talking actual '"in a ditch" labor), he has designed homes, supervised homes and sold homes since 1990. Not only is Steve the go to guy for production and custom homes, he is the #1 Benchmark System Built Home Builder. Steve is definitely someone "thinking outside the box" and someone you want on your team whether you are buying, building, selling or leasing!
Steve's wife Mindy is also a real estate agent and although Steve's resume is a hard act to follow, Mindy can hold her own! A native central Ohioan like Steve, she could be the best real estate agent in the known Universe! She is the nice one! No, just kidding! She is the people person, wanting to please every client or customer whenever possible. She has shoveled driveways, pulled weeds, helped paint, clean houses (even ovens!) and so many other things just to help her clients out! She puts her heart and soul in every deal. Each year in the business, doubles her Christmas card list! Being a second generation realtor has its advantages also. Growing up in the industry gave Mindy a heads up. So although she started out in the Education field, she found her way back home in the real estate field and couldn't imagine being anywhere else!
Their three kids, Tyler, Kyle and Carter are all happy, funny, a little goofy and following in their parent’s footsteps! Kyle has a candy company if anyone needs any gumball machines!
